About Us

The Elementary Mathematics Office develops instructional materials and provides professional development for teachers at Kindergarten through fifth grade. A senior administrator and two coordinating teachers promote effective delivery of the NC Standard Course of Study for Mathematics. This office works with classroom teachers to design instructional pacing guides, math observational profile cards, Project Achieve lessons and other curricular documents to align assessment and instruction. Current achievement data and teacher needs determine the focus of workshops and other teacher support.
